Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno next summer.
The German has been the Gunners’ first-choice keeper over the years, but he has recently been axed from Premier League duties.
He appears unlikely to retain the number one role ahead of Aaron Ramsdale, and reports claim that he will be offloaded next year.
According to Fichajes, the Nerazzurri are keen on pursuing the German’s services as they want a replacement for Samir Handanovic.
Leno has been solid between the sticks for the Gunners in recent seasons. He has made the occasional error, but has redeemed himself.
Despite this, he has recently fallen down the pecking order with manager Mikel Arteta prefering Ramsdale, who is more vocal.
The summer signing has impressed with his energy and ability to command the box. Arteta recently heaped praise on his qualities.
Leno was purchased from Bayer Leverkusen for around £20 million. The Gunners will be aiming to recoup most of that figure.
