Barcelona are aiming to sign Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani and Manchester City’s Ferran Torres at the earliest possibility.
The Blaugrana are long-term admirers of Torres, and talks are underway to sign him when the transfer window reopens next month.
The club have made an opening bid of around €50m, but the Cityzens are reluctant to sell him for less than €60m at the moment.
Negotiations are continuing between the clubs. The Blaugrana are confident of landing him on an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
Meanwhile, Cavani has been identified as their prime striker target. The Uruguayan has struggled for regular playing time this season.
He has been out with a tendon injury recently, but is expected to be fit when the Red Devils return to action after their Covid-19 outbreak.
The 34-year-old is keen to move on amid the lack of regular starts. With his contract expiring next summer, he could leave for a nominal fee.
Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez is keen on landing both players before the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Real Madrid on January 12.
