Real Madrid players are reportedly convinced that Antonio Rudiger will sign for the club at the end of the season.
The German will enter the final six months of his Chelsea contract in January. He has yet to agree terms over an extension.
Rudiger feels disrespected by the contract offer on the table, and it appears he could leave on a free transfer next summer.
Amidst this, The Telegraph claims that Real Madrid are willing to meet his salary demands of around £280,000-a-week.
It is added that Los Blancos players are convinced that the central defender will be joining the club ahead of next season.
Rudiger has refused to rule out a renewal with the Blues, but it is quite clear that the hierarchy won’t meet his requirements.
They are only willing to offer him £150,000-a-week, and are unlikely to change their stance regardless of his performances.
Aside from Rudiger, the Blues could also lose Andreas Christensen whose contract also expires at the end of the campaign.
