Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta will reportedly join Barcelona on a free transfer next summer.
The Spaniard has been a key player for the Blues over the past nine-and-half seasons, but he has yet to agree a new deal.
His current contract expires in June 2022, and reports claim that the defender is eyeing a new challenge away from the club.
The Blues are willing to extend his stay for another season, but Azpilicueta is adamant that he wants a multi-year contract.
This could see him head for the exit door. According to reputed journalist Gerard Romero, he could end up at Barcelona.
The defender has verbally agreed to personal terms over a three-year deal, and a pre-contract could be finalised in January.
Apart from Azpilicueta, the Catalan giants are also keeping tabs on Andreas Christensen, who has yet to extend his Blues stay.
His contract also expires at the end of the campaign. The Blaugrana are ready to pounce if the player decides to move on.
