Declan Rice wants Chelsea comeback

Chelsea are deemed favourites to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during this summer’s transfer window.

The England international was in the Blues academy until the age of 14 before he was released for not being good enough.

Rice has since made terrific progress with the Hammers where he is currently considered as the most valuable player.

The east London club won’t entertain offers less than £100m this summer, but the Blues are still expected to make a move.

The Blues could reportedly sanction the sale of N’Golo Kante in their attempt to recoup funds for their former graduate.

Manchester United are also interested in the England star, but they face a losing cause with Rice determined to rejoin the Blues.

The 23-year-old is keen to prove himself to his former club, and is focused on securing a dream return to the west London giants.

Rice has made 174 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions to date.
