Manchester United and Arsenal will need to pay around £62.5m to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku this summer.
The 24-year-old has been in sensational form for Leipzig this term, bagging 22 goals and 13 assists from just 33 appearances in all competitions
His form has caught the eye of both United and Arsenal, but Leipzig are reluctant to lose him unless a significant bid is made.
Nkunku will enter the final two years of his contract this summer, but Bild reports that Leipzig won’t entertain offers less than £62.5m.
The Frenchman has been a long-term target for the Gunners. He was first linked with them during the 2019 January transfer window.
He was touted to join on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, but they ended up signing Denis Suarez, who became a huge flop due to injury.
The Gunners have now revived their pursuit of Nkunku, but United are also in the mix after the recommendation of interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
