Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has hinted that Andreas Christensen could be heading for the exit door this summer.
The Dane has less than four months remaining on his Blues contract, and he is free to speak with overseas clubs.
Barcelona are already in talks over a pre-contract deal, and it could be formally announced in the near future.
Amidst this, Tuchel has accepted that the Blues are not happy with Christensen’s reluctance to sign a renewal.
The German added that the Blues can cope with the absence of the centre-back, should he pursue a free transfer.
He told Chelseafc.com: “We are not happy about it and personally and the club representatives think it’s best for him to stay here.”
“We rely heavily on him. We have to consider the possibility that he may leave us. Will we like that? No. Will we live with it? Yes.”
The Blues are overwhelming favourites to beat the Canaries, who are currently languishing in the 20th spot.
